TECRESA started its activities in Vizcaya in April 1986 as a service company in the field of refractory installations for the different industrial sectors such as siderurgical, chemical, petrochemical, energetic and cement.

The consolidated growth of TECRESA has been at a par with the opening of different operative branches, Asturias, Andalucia, Galicia and Cantabria. The good evolution of our company in the last years reflects the high degree of satisfaction in our costumers.

The installation and refractory maintenance activity constitutes the basis from which TECRESA gave an impulse to its management development. Thus, it counts on a large experience of more than 34 years in the design and installations of linings in all types of installations in the different industrial sectors both at national and international level.

HISTORIA

• 1986 Company foundation in Vizcaya (Zamudio) orientated to refractory lining supply an Installation.
• 1987 The Head Office moved to our current Central Office located in Ribera de Zorrozaurre in Bilbao Opening of different branches following a policy of client approach, so as to guarantee a faster service and offer a closer and personalized treatment to the customer.
• 1987 Opening of the Branch in Asturias and at the same time creation of a new división focused on antacid linings
• 1988 Commercial expansion of TECRESA
• 1991 Opening of the Branch in Huelva betting on a new business line in the south of Spain increasing or curtomer´s orders inthe cement, chemical and petrochemical market.
• 1993 Opening of the Branch in Galicia expanding our presence in the aluminium, thermal power stations and agglomerate board Factory industry sectors.
• 2010 Opening of our Branch in Cantabria, orientated specially to refractory engineering.
• 2012 13th November 2012 STEULER of Höhr-Grenzhausen takes over the Bilbao-based Spanish installation company TECRESA and incorporates the firm into its own international network of subsidiaries in the business of industrial lining systems.
