The Steuler International Subsidiaries Conference involving the Linings Division's overseas subsidiaries was held for the eighth time from the 20th to the 22nd of September 2022. A total of ten countries with several international specialists from the Steuler Group were represented. Over the course of three days, they exchanged opinions, experiences and ideas on a variety of current themes and issues.

In addition to interesting talks on the latest developments, sustainability management and IT security, our overseas guests reported on new markets, safety concepts and training opportunities too. The next day, tours were organised at our Höhr-Grenzhausen site, and the latest innovations showcased as part of a presentation. One highlight was the presentation of the Steuler Remote innovation project – data glasses for online inspections and supervision over long distances. With a live link to the construction site of our subsidiary in China, which unfortunately could not be on site and therefore participated in the conference.

Ample opportunity was provided to revisit the topics discussed, exchange ideas informally and further consolidate the already strong network at the evening functions that followed each day’s session.
